                                        Multi-Max® FA-3

                                             The Popular Choice

The versatility of RMAX Multi-Max® FA-3  insulation makes it a popular choice for both new and retrofit applications. This rigid, closed-cell, polyiso foam core is bonded to glass fiber/organic mat facers, making it compatible with virtually any roofing system on the market. Specify it for use with single ply, built-up and modified bitumen membranes or metal panel roofing systems. RMAX Multi-Max FA-3 meets nationally accepted building codes. You can order it in a variety of R-values, panel sizes, thicknesses and, if required, a 25 psi formulation.

Re-Cover Board-3

For Use with Many Roof Systems

Rmax Re-Cover Board-3 polyiso foam is the ideal choice for recovering an existing roof in order to provide an extra layer of thermal insulation and a suitable substrate for the new roof covering.  It is suitable for recover constructions utilizing built-up, modified bitumen or single ply membranes.  It can save money for an existing roof system still sound and well attached.

Tapered Thermaroof ® -3

For Improved Roof

 Drainage

Standing water can quickly damage any roof, but with RMAX Tapered Thermaroof®-3 insulation in place, the problem can be minimized. Manufactured with a slope of 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 inch per foot, RMAX tapered panels provide positive roof drainage. The rigid, closed-cell, polyiso foam core construction features glass fiber/organic mat facers on each side, and complies with nationally accepted building codes. Install it with single ply, built-up or modified bitumen membranes on new or retrofit constructions.  RMAX Tapered Thermaroof®-3 panels are available with factory engineered roof layouts for simplified installation.

 Thermaroof ® Plus-3

For Single Ply and Metal Panel Systems

Thermaroof Plusâ-3 with its reinforced aluminum foil facers is an excellent polyiso foam for use with loose-laid ballasted or mechanically attached single ply membranes or standing-seam metal panel roofing systems.  The ease of use and high R-value of foil-faced insulations also make Thermaroof Plusâ-3 the choice in some retrofit recover applications.

Nailable Base-3 Solutions Save Time and Money

Rmax Nailable Base-3 is a highly efficient thermal insulation board composed of a rigid closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to a 7/16-inch thick OSB nailing panel on the top surface and a glass fiber/organic mat facer on the other side of the product.

     Vented Nailable Base-3

Roofing Insulation for Shingle Applications

Rmax Vented Nailable Base-3 insulation is a composite product composed of an OSB top nailing surface with furring strips, combined with a rigid polyisocyanurate foam core resulting in a highly efficient thermal insulation board. The top-nailing surface is a 7/16" thick OSB board with five (5) each 3/4" thick wood furring strips attached.  This nailing surface is then attached to the polyisocyanurate foam core.

 Advantage Vented Nailable Base-3

For Shingle Applications

Rmax Advantage Vented Nailable Base-3 is a two-layer product consisting of one layer of polyisocyanurate foam insulation and a separate second layer consisting of 7/16” OSB

having factory applied wood furring strips.  This two component system enables the applicator to install the layer of rigid polyisocyanurate foam and tightly butt the joints followed by the second layer of OSB with furring strips installed with staggered joints and appropriate spacing for expansion.  This method reduces thermal bridging and allows for a less costly alternative to the Vented Nailable Base-3 single component product.

 Thermaroof® Composite-3

For BUR and Single Ply Systems

Thermaroof® Composite-3 offers the high R-values associated with polyiso foam plus the fire resistance and substrate advantages provided by perlite.  Specify the foam thickness you want, we'll laminate it to 1/2" perlite. Use under BUR, modified bitumen or single ply membranes.

 RDeck®-3

For Use with All Types of Applications

RDECK®-3 offers the advantages of a highly efficient thermal insulation polyiso foam coupled with the strength of ¼” glass mat gypsum board.  Install the gypsum side up for unexcelled traffic resistance, improved adhesion performance for fully adhered single ply systems, direct torching for both SBS and APP modified bitumens, and the elimination of an additional cover board.  Install the gypsum side down for an excellent fire barrier and still have the latitude to install most roofing systems in the conventional manner over the glass fiber faced polyiso foam.
