Rmax Eco-Max is a rigid foam plastic thermal insulation board composed of environmentally sound, closed cell, polyisocyanurate foam bonded to reinforced aluminum foil facers on each side. This environmentally responsible wall insulation contains a minimum of 8% renewable content Natural Oil Polyol (NOP). It is suitable for use in walls and limited roofing applications in new commercial, residential, agricultural and industrial buildings and in thermal retrofit construction within existing buildings. Eco-Max is available in thicknesses from 0.75" to 3" and in several lengths, including custom lengths within manufacturing limits.
Eco-Max is applied to the exterior or interior face of wood or metal studs to cover all studs, sills, plates and header constructions, thereby providing insulation over areas not normally covered by insulation products. You can apply Eco-Max to either the exterior face or interior face of concrete or concrete masonry walls to provide an insulation layer over the entire surface. When used on the inside face of walls, Eco-Max must be covered by an approved thermal barrier. Eco-Max qualifies for contributions toward LEED building credits.
